Grammy Awards 2015: tutte le news e le esibizioni

Common e John Legend sono le new entry che andranno ad esibirsi in questa nuova edizione dei Grammy Awards, prevista per l’8 febbraio.

Il loro live prevederà naturalmente l’esecuzione di “Glory”, canzone candidata all’Oscar per il film “Selma”. Ci sarà poi la cantautrice country Miranda Lambert, l’otto volte vincitore di un Grammy, Usher, e i due candidati principali di quest’anno, Sam Smith e Pharrell Williams.

A queste esibizioni si uniscono quelle di Eric Church, AC/DC, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran e Madonna.

Ricordiamo che Common, due volte vincitore di un Grammy, è candidato come Best Rap/Sung Collaboration per “Blak Majik” Featuring Jhené Aiko e Best Rap Album per “Nobody’s Smiling”.

Lambert ha quattro nomination: Best Country Solo Performance e Best Country Song per “Automatic,” Best Country Duo/Group Performance per “Somethin’ Bad” con Carrie Underwood, e Best Country Album per “Platinum”.

Il nove volte vincitore, John Legend, ha due nomination: Best Pop Solo Performance per “All Of Me (Live)” e Best Rap Song per “Bound 2.”

Chi fa il suo debutto sul palco dei Grammy è Sam Smith, che ha ben sei nomination: Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, e Best Pop Solo Performance per “Stay With Me (Darkchild Version)”; Album Of The Year e Best Pop Vocal Album per “In The Lonely Hour”; and Best New Artist.

Alla pari, anche il sette volte vincitore, Pharrell Williams, ha sei nomination: Album Of The Year per “Girl”, e come produttore per Beyoncé e il suo omonimo album ed Ed Sheeran con “X”; Best Pop Solo Performance per “Happy (Live)”; Best Music Video per “Happy”; e Best Urban Contemporary Album per “Girl”.

Usher invece è candidato a quattro premi: Best R&B Performance e Best R&B Song per “New Flame” (con Chris Brown & Rick Ross); e Best R&B Performance e Best R&B Song per “Good Kisser.”
