Sorpresa Frank Ocean: e se il nuovo album “Boys don’t cry” uscisse domani?

L’attesa del piacere – rivela un proverbio alquanto inflazionato – è essa stessa piacere. Forse, però, sta per finire per dare spazio a quello che è il piacere vero e proprio: di ascoltare, ad esempio, uno degli album più attesi di questo 2016: stiamo parlando di Boys don’t cry di Frank Ocean.

Insomma, forse questa volta ci siamo per davvero. Frank Ocean, stando alle ultime indiscrezioni riportate dal Times, avrebbe finalmente concretizzato la pubblicazione del suo attesissimo album di inediti. Boys Don’t Cry, questo il titolo del disco, dovrebbe uscire domani venerdì 5 agosto 2016 in esclusiva su Apple Music, per due settimane, e, successivamente, sarà fruibile via streaming e in tutte le altre piattaforme per l’acquisto. Ad accompagnare la pubblicazione dell’album, sempre stando a quelle che sono le fonti più attendibili, ci sarà il video ufficiale del primo singolo, disponibile sempre dalla giornata di venerdì.

E’ da tempo che si vocifera del rilascio del disco -mesi e mesi- e lo stesso Ocean, qualche settimana fa, aveva condiviso un autoirionico messaggio con tutte le date previste per l’Lp e i successivi rimandi. Non era stata cancellata quella di luglio 2016 ma, forse, in questo caso si tratterebbe solo di un ritardo “minimo”.

Intanto, godiamoci (correlato di testo) uno dei brani più belli dell’artista che ha conquistato tutti con Channel Orange: si tratta di Thinkin bout you:
